ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a manual gas valve for use with either LP gas or natural gas operation with the purpose of solving the technical dilemma that the existing gas valve cannot be converted conveniently for use with different gases having different heating values. The manual gas valve of the present invention comprises a nozzle1, a 8×1.9 O-shaped ring2, a nozzle holder3, a valve body4, a faucet5, a regulating lever6, a 1.78×1.78 O-shaped ring7, a spring8, a stop plate9, a pair of bolts10, a mounting cover11, and a valve stem12. By utilizing the manual gas valve of the present invention, LP gas and natural gas can be used interchangeably and the gas flow can be conveniently regulated to achieve a similar heating value with either LP gas or natural gas operation. In addition, the conversion is easy and convenient, without requiring the use of any special tools or relying on any additional testing apparatus. No special skill or training is needed so that it is particularly suitable for self regulating operation by customers. Moreover, the manual gas valve is safe and reliable.
