ABSTRACT:
Mannich condensation products prepared by the condensation of a compound having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen, lower alkyl having 1 through 6 carbon atoms, hydroxy or lower alkoxy having 1 through 6 atoms; R.sup.1 is polyalkyl having an average molecular weight of about from 400 to 5000 and n is 0 or a whole integer of from 1 through 10 with ammonia, alkylamine, or polyamine and an aldehyde.
The condensation products and their fuel-soluble salts are useful as fuel additives for the prevention and control of engine deposits.
