ABSTRACT:
A mail box post mount that is a frame for mounting a mail box onto a top of an upright square or rectangular post having a top surface that includes a pair of parallel brackets that each receive ends of a pair of spaced bars that are mounted at right angles thereto forming a rectangular frame. The parallel brackets each include a web member with parallel flanges that each extend from the bracket edges, to receive the bar ends fitted and mounted therebetween with each bar including hole or holes formed therethrough for passing fastener therethrough and into the post top end. One of which bars is preferably movable along the parallel brackets to provide for adjusting of the spacing distance between which for mounting to different dimensions of pole ends, with the parallel brackets each including a hole or holes formed therethrough for receiving a fastener fitted therein that has passed through a side or a mail box, for mounting the mail box thereto.
