ABSTRACT:
A magnetic transfer method for transferring information signals recorded on a master medium onto a slave medium which is placed in pressure contact with the master medium by impressing a bias magnetic field wherein the relationship between the longitudinal remanent coercivity Hr.sub.1 of the master medium is equal to or twice the perpendicular remanent coercivity Hr.sub.2 of the slave medium.
