ABSTRACT:
A magnetic recording medium in which a hexagonal crystalline system ferromagnetic powder having a specific surface area of 25 to 50 m.sup.2 /g is dispersed in a resinous binder is suitable for high-density recording which is low in noise and is excellent in orientation properties.
