ABSTRACT:
Apparatus is disclosed for locating and measuring wear in nuclear reactor control rods. Circumferential and radial eddy current test probes produce outputs corresponding respectively to volume and thickness of the control rod. A method is disclosed to determine cladding wear when the volume and thickness varies beyond preselected limits.
