ABSTRACT:
A main FPC comprises a board body having a conductor pattern thereon. An extended end portion of the board body includes a junction, which is provided with a large number of connecting pads, and first and second extension sections extending in opposite directions from the junction. A reinforcing plate is stuck on the back of the extension sections and the junction. A mounting section that extends at right angles to the junction is formed by bending the fist and second extension sections and part of the reinforcing plate. Apertures are formed in the mounting section, and the mounting section is fixed to a carriage assembly by being clamped together with a bearing section of the carriage assembly that is passed through the apertures.
