ABSTRACT:
The invention disclosed is a magnesium-based alloy for use in electrical batteries. The alloys contain 6-13%/w of lithium andexhibits enhanced electrochemical properties. Small amounts of aluminum may be added to the alloys to enhance corrosion resistance.
