ABSTRACT:
Magnesium.aluminium complex compound useful for aldol condensation dehydration is prepared by allowing a solution of magnesium salts and a solution of aluminium salts to react with ammonia and then heating the thus obtained precipitate at a temperature of 400.degree.-700.degree. C.
