ABSTRACT:
The invention provides a means by which a gas discharge lighting display can be made of virtually any material which can withstand temperatures over 110.degree. F. This display uses a bypass tube to isolate heat and contamination from the main channel of a gas discharge lighting display during its manufacture. The bypass tube is then removed to force the luminous discharge to pass through the main channel, providing a lighting or advertising display of high quality and reliability.
