ABSTRACT:
A fuel, lubricant supply system for a carburetor of a two-cycle internal combustion engine wherein both fuel and lubricant are delivered to the fuel bowl of the carburetor. The amount of lubricant delivered is proportioned in response to the air flow through the carburetor and the amount of fuel delivered is controlled in response to the output pressure if the lubricant pump for preventing the operation of the engine with insufficient lubricant. In one embodiment, the air flow is sensed by sensing static pressure at the throat of the venturi of the carburetor and in the other embodiment, the air flow is sensing dynamic air pressure at the inlet to the carburetor.
