ABSTRACT:
Disclosed is a lubricating oil for compression-type refrigerators comprising, as a main component, a polyoxyalkylene glycol derivative which has at least one constitutional unit represented by the general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 to R.sup.4 are as defined in the specification. Said lubricating oil for compression-type refrigerators has good miscibility with refrigerants including R-134a.
