ABSTRACT:
Synthetic fibers are treated for the purpose of lubrication with a compound of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen or phenyl, R.sub.2 is an alkylene group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, R.sub.3 is an alkylene group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms or a mixed alkylene group thereof, R.sub.4 is hydrogen, an acyl having 1 to 18 carbon atoms or alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, p is a number of from 2 to 5 and n is a number of from 1 to 50.
