ABSTRACT:
Composition comprising 0.001-4.999 parts by mass of an organic onium salt e.g. tetraoctylammonium•bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide of formula (I):wherein Z is N or P, R1, R2, R3and R4are each independently C4-C20-hydrocarbon, providing that the ratio of the number of carbons of a group having the largest number of carbons to the number of carbons of a group having the smallest number of carbons in R1, R2, R3and R4is 2 or less, X−is an anion of formula (II):in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?A1-N−-A2  (II)in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?wherein A1and A2are each independently fluoroacyl, and 0.001-4.999 parts by mass of a C8-C25-fatty acid based on 100 parts by mass of a hydrocarbon solvent, the total amount of the organic onium salt and the fatty acid being 0.01-5 parts by mass. The composition maintains high productivity without causing breakdown or reduction in reliability caused by charge in the step of finally polishing a magnetic head.
