ABSTRACT:
Motor oil compositions formulated for use as crankcase lubricants in internal combustion engines are improved by including in said motor oil a small amount of at least one C.sub.8 -C.sub.24 aliphatic monocarboxylic acid amide, resulting in reduced fuel consumption of said internal combustion engines operated with said motor oil.
