ABSTRACT:
Certain NH sterically hindered amine compounds of the formulawhere R is a straight or branched alkyl group of from 7 to 17 carbon atoms and where n is from 6 to 18 are suitable for use as stabilizers in lubricant compositions. The sterically hindered amines are non-aggressive towards fluoroelastomer O-rings or seals.
