An adduct of 2,5-dimercapto-1,2,4 -thiadiazole, an epoxide, a formaldehyde and 4,4'-isopropylidenediphenol represented by the formula ##STR1## where A is H or ##STR2## where R is H or a (C.sub.1 -C.sub.30) alkyl group and n=1-4.
