ABSTRACT:
A low temperature sealing glass composition comprises a glass powder comprising 20 to 55 wt. % of PbO, 20 to 55 wt. % of V.sub.2 O.sub.5, 5 to 40 wt. % of TeO.sub.2, and 0 to 8 wt. % of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 or (i) 50 to 80 vol. % of a glass powder comprising 20 to 55 wt. % of PbO, 20 to 55 wt. % of V.sub.2 O.sub.5, 5 to 40 wt. % of TeO.sub.2, and 0 to 8 wt. % of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, and (ii) 20 to 50 vol. % of low thermal expansion ceramic fillers.
