ABSTRACT:
A polyamide yarn especially suitable as a tire yarn having 0.2-2.0 wt. % of a finish, said finish consisting essentially of 50-95 wt. % lubricants having a melting point not greater than about 12.degree. C., wherein at least 40 wt. % of the lubricants is pentaerythritol tetrapelargonate, 5-50 wt. % of the finish is sorbitan triester adduct with 10-30 moles ethylene oxide, 0-5 wt. % of the finish is antioxidant and 0-2 wt. % of finish is a polysiloxane.
