ABSTRACT:
Carbon blacks having a having a CTAB of 95-120 m.sup.2 /g, a CDBP of 106-120 cc/100 g, a Tint/CTAB ratio of 0.90-1.10, a Skewness D.sub.c of 1.30-1.80 and a Skewness P.sub.s of 1.00-1.50. Also disclosed are rubber compounds containing the carbon blacks which exhibit increased abrasion resistance, lower heat build-up and reduced rolling resistance.
