ABSTRACT:
A low pressure fuel injection system, especially suitable to be applied to a two-stroke gasoline engine, mainly comprises a solenoid-operated fuel injector which is mounted on cylinder wall in order to inject fuel directly into cylinder. The injector has a specially-designed injection valve assembly including a valve needle and a valve body that could execute in-cylinder injection under low fuel pressure, eg. 3 kg/cm.sup.2, without causing any problem accompanied with.
