ABSTRACT:
Method of preparing a wet-strength resin of the polyamine-epichlorohydrin type in which the E/N ratio is from about 1.0 to about 1.20 and the reaction temperature is no higher than 50.degree. C., and wet-strength resins having high wet-strength and low amounts of chlorinated compounds produced by said method.
