A low-current starter switch (1) for vehicles, includes a rotor (3;3′) fixed to an anti-theft cylinder and an electrical circuit. The electrical circuit is low current with a variable resistance, depending on the annular position of the rotor (3;3′), and provides an output voltage (Vx) which varies as a function of the resistance.
