ABSTRACT:
A locking pivot connector for a cot-chair back rest and a swivel joint for a sun shade supported by the back rest are disclosed. The locking pivot connector permits longitudinal placement of the back rest on the cot-chair with selective angular adjustment of the back rest on the cot-chair to allow its use as a cot, chair or chaise lounge. The sun shade swivel connection permits almost 360.degree. angular rotation of the sun shade by a spring-loaded ratchet assembly.
