ABSTRACT:
Disclosed herein is a method for identifyingflaviviruscross-reactive epitopes. Also provided areflavivirusE-glyco-protein cross-reactive epitopes andflavivirusE-glycoprotein crossreactive epitopes having reduced or ablated cross-reactivity (and polypeptides comprising such epitopes), as well as methods of using these molecules to elicit an immune response against aflavivirusand to detect a flaviviral infection.
