Load storage equipment according to the present invention includes rotary racks21,each of which is supported independently on a story1or2,and which may not extend vertically through the slab4between the stories1and2.The storage equipment also includes a transferrer51common to the rotary racks21.Each of the rotary racks21can turn on a vertical axis22and includes load supports32arranged circumferentially around the vertical axis22and vertically. The transferrer51extends vertically near the sides of the rotary racks21and through the slab4.The transferrer51includes a carrier81,which can vertically move to carry loads to and from the load supports32.
