ABSTRACT:
A novel X-ray intensifying screen is detailed comprising Li.sub.3 Ta.sub.1-x Nb.sub.x O.sub.4 wherein x is 0.0 to 1.0. Further detailed is a radiographic recording element employing the same screen. This novel X-ray intensifying screen has improved speed when compared to X-ray intensifying screens comprising CaWO.sub.4.
