ABSTRACT:
The nonlinear properties of LiClO.sub.4.3H.sub.2 O permit noncritical phase matching in the vicinity of 5200 Angstroms at room temperature. This material may be used as the essential element in second harmonic generators and other nonlinear devices which could then be operated at room temperature under noncritical phase-matched conditions.
