ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a liquid sensor which can certainly judge the existence of liquid, and a liquid container including the sensor. A liquid sensor60in which a piezoelectric element having a piezoelectric layer47on both surfaces of which electrodes46and49are formed is used, and a bottom43aof a cavity43for receiving liquid as a detection object is vibrated. The sensor60includes a vibration cavity forming base portion40in which the cavity43having the vibratable bottom43ais formed, and a flow path forming base portion50laminated on the vibration cavity forming base portion40. A liquid supply path53for supplying the liquid as the detection object to the cavity43and a liquid discharge path54for discharging the liquid as the detection object from the cavity43are formed in the flow path forming base portion50.
