ABSTRACT:
The invention provides a stable, liquid, substantially nonaqueous detergent comprising:
at least one imidoperacid with the structure ##STR1## wherein R is C.sub.1-20 alkylene, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are individually H or C.sub.1-6 alkyl or alkenyl, or R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 join to form a heterocycle, said imidoperacid being solubilized in a liquid nonionic surfactant. The stable liquid detergent has excellent oxidant and phase stability and, if enzymes are present, maintains proficient enzyme activity.
