ABSTRACT:
In a liquid jet apparatus with ink discharging orifices and a recording apparatus using the same, each of the orifices has a trapezoidal cross-section, with at least the opposite bottom corners thereof having curved portions. The orifices preferably have a shape convergently tapering toward the outside of the recording head. The orifices are durable against temperature changes, impact, etc., which tend to cause cracking.
