ABSTRACT:
A liquid-jet head, a manufacturing method thereof and a liquid-jet apparatus are provided, the liquid-jet head capable of preventing damage to a vibration plate, easily and surely preventing damage to a piezoelectric element attributable to an external environment, simplifying a manufacturing process and improving a withstand voltage of the piezoelectric element. In the liquid-jet head including a passage-forming substrate10in which a pressure generating chamber12communicating with a nozzle orifice21is defined; and a piezoelectric element300which is constituted of a lower electrode60,a piezoelectric layer70and an upper electrode80and is provided on the passage-forming substrate10with vibration plates50and60interposed therebetween, the piezoelectric element300is made of a thin film directly formed on the vibration plates50and60by deposition and a lithography method without an adhesive agent interposed therebetween; a junction plate30is joined onto a draw-out wiring90drawn out of the piezoelectric element300on the piezoelectric element300-facing side of the passage-forming substrate10with an insulating adhesive agent122interposed therebetween; only a side face of the piezoelectric element300is covered with an adhesion layer121made of an adhesive agent122joining the junction plate30so as not to expose at least the piezoelectric layer70; and thus the piezoelectric element300is sealed.
