ABSTRACT:
A fuel injection pumping apparatus includes a first valve means for supplying fuel under pressure to one end of a piston the displacement of which effects fuel flow to the engine at a substantially unrestricted rate, and a second valve means which when opened allows fluid to flow at a restricted rate by virtue of an orifice, to the cylinder containing the aforesaid piston whereby the fuel flow to the engine is at a restricted rate.
