ABSTRACT:
A liquid developer for development of electrostatic latent images comprising a carrier liquid containing at least one copolymer of formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R.sub.2 is an alkyl, aralkyl, aryl or cycloalkyl group, which may be substituted; and x and y eash is a number to satisfy the condition of x/y=0.995 to 0.80/0.005 to 0.20 on a molar basis. By incorporation of the copolymer, the transferability, dispersibility and fixability of the developer are improved.
