ABSTRACT:
A liquid developer for an electrostatic latent image according to the present invention comprises an insulating carrier liquid containing therein a dispersed toner composed of colored particles coated with at least one rubber selected from the group consisting of natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber and vinyltoluene-butadiene rubber, each of the rubber components having been subjected to a heat treatment at a temperature not lower than 150.degree. C prior to being coated on said colored particles.
