ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a liquid crystalline, photo cross-linkable main-chain polymer used as interferentially effective, chromophoric substance for colored paints, in which the main mesogenic groups are disposed at least approximately in a chiral-nematic manner. An etherified cellulose ether or a mixture of several etherified cellulose ethers is used pursuant to the invention as liquid crystalline main-chain polymer or polymers wherein:
