ABSTRACT:
A liquid crystal material mixture for use in liquid crystal displays is arranged to have a small display threshold voltage change with temperature over a desired operating range, e.g. 0.degree. to 40.degree. C. This is obtained by a mixture of at least one liquid crystal material of type A and at least one liquid crystal material of a type B; wherein type A has the following phases with increasing temperature:
