A liquid crystal drop fill device by which liquid crystal panels of different sizes is easily obtained from a mother glass, and a method for drop filling liquid crystal by using the device is provided in order to increase utilization efficiency of the mother glass. The device1includes a stage3arranged to support a substrate2, liquid crystal dispensers4and5arranged to drop fill liquid crystal on the substrate2, a first moving unit6arranged to support the dispensers4and5movably in a Y-direction relative to the stage3, and second moving units7and8arranged to support the dispensers4and5movably in an X-direction relative to the first moving unit6, wherein the device1further includes a third moving unit9arranged to support the dispenser5to be further movable in the Y-direction relative to the second moving unit8.
