ABSTRACT:
A liquid crystal display panel20is manufactured by applying a seal agent19to at least of a pair of substrates10, 12, enclosing the cell region14; opposing the pair of substrates10, 12at a prescribed gap to define a cell space14; depressurizing the interior of the cell space14through an opening13formed in at least one of the pair of substrates10, 12to thereby securely bond the pair of substrate10, 12to each other; and injecting a liquid crystal into the cell space14. The atmospheric pressure is applied to the pair of substrates10, 12, whereby a uniform external pressure is applied, and the glass substrates can be securely bonded to each other in good condition.
