ABSTRACT:
A liquid crystal display device includes an array substrate, an opposing substrate, and a liquid crystal layer sealed between the substrates. The array substrate has signal and scanning lines arranged in a matrix manner, and a plurality of pixel electrodes each connected to the signal and scanning lines through a transistor. A conductive film covers the signal and scanning lines through an insulating film. Each pixel electrode has an edge portion overlapping with the conductive film through an insulating film.
