ABSTRACT:
In the liquid crystal display device of the present invention, channels13containing gaps12of the adjacent color filers CF are formed on the surface of a transparent thickness section11, such that when orientation agent is applied by means of a roller to the surface of the transparent section wall11, the surplus orientation agent is conducted to either side of the transparent thickness wall11through the channels13, such that the orientation agent does not gather and is dissolved, and the orientation thickness film does not become uneven as to produce any orientation defect and defective display is thereby avoided.
