ABSTRACT:
A liquid crystal display cell comprising a pair of facing plastic films, a pair of transparent electrodes, each said electrode being formed on the facing surfaces of the films, a liquid crystal enclosed between the films, and a pair of polarizing films, each being provided on the opposite surface of the plastic film, the plastic film comprising a polyester film having a density of 1.380.about.1.420 g/cm.sup.3 and three-way refractive indexes within the following range:
