ABSTRACT:
Disclosed are liquid crystal copolyesters prepared from p-hydroxybenzoic acid, hydroquinone, a C.sub.8 to C.sub.12 linear aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and optionally an aromatic dicarboxylic acid selected from the group consisting of isophthalic acid, terephthalic acid, 1,5 naphthalene dicarboxylic acid and 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid.
