ABSTRACT:
A process for the production of a non-aggregating, filterable dispersion of liposomal encapsulated hemoglobin includes the addition of a plasma protein such as human serum albumin to a liposome dispersion and the application of liposome-forming energy to the dispersion sufficient to form unilamellar vesicles having a diameter smaller than 0.2 .mu.m.
