ABSTRACT:
There is provided a lipase composition comprising (a) a powdered lipase which is a lipase derived fromRhizomucorsp. or a powdered lipase which is a lipase derived fromPenicilliumsp. and (b) a powdered lipase selected from the group consisting of a powdered lipase which is a lipase derived fromAlcaligenessp., a powdered lipase which is a lipase derived fromRhizopussp. and a powdered lipase which is a lipase derived fromThermomycessp. When using this lipase composition, a compound(s) having at least one alcoholic hydroxyl group in the molecule can be effectively esterified with a carboxylic acid(s).
