ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to compositions for treating dandruff comprising compounds that are non-polymeric and/or have a weight average molecular weight of less than about 1000. These compounds, when used at a concentration of about 0.001% or less, inhibit the activity of anyMalassezia globosalipase by at least 50%. The invention also relates to the use of these compounds for inhibiting lipase activity.
