ABSTRACT:
The invention concerns a lip element for instrument with single flapping reed for instance for clarinet or saxophone, comprising mouthpiece (10), a reed (12) and a ligature for fixing the reed (12) to the mouthpiece (10). In said (14) is interposed between the reed (12) and the mouthpiece (10), thereby modifying the conditions in which the two each other, and in particular enabling to optimize the vibrational behavior of the reed (12), by virtually modifying the table of the mouthpiece (10). The insert consists of a thin plastic or metal film provided with an adhesive and has a bevelled profile.
