ABSTRACT:
A linkage arrangement for antiskid vehicle tire chains in which a web link in a plane perpendicular to the tire surface is pivotally linked to a substantially circular link which is parallel to the tire surface. The interengaging regions of said links are convex toward each other and vary not more than a small amount in curvature. The links are so configured within the region of pivotal interengagement thereof as to present cooperating elements of abutment means to one another which limits the relative pivotal movement thereof to about 90.degree. in the direction toward and away from the surface.
