ABSTRACT:
A linear motor has a mover that is a magnetostatic induction element and is relatively movable through electromagnetic coils or the like. The mover has a length of a magnetic path which derives attraction from the coil in regard to the length of the electromagnetic coil. As the magnetostatic induction element proceeds through the electromagnetic coils, the electromagnetic coils are energized while the magnetic field created thereby exert forward attractive force on the magnetostatic induction element, and disenergized before the traction in a reverse direction is exerted on the magnetostatic induction element.
