ABSTRACT:
According to the present invention, radar rays are reflected off a rotating econdary reflector which is both tilted with respect to and synchronously translated, in simple harmonic motion, in a direction transverse to the axis of rotation of the secondary reflector. The combined effect of the tilting and translating of the secondary reflector is to produce a line scan when the rays from the secondary reflector are reflected off a primary reflector.
